    These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Athenai platform and services (the "Service"), operated by Athenai ("we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

    1. Eligibility

    You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

    2. Accounts

    You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You agree to:

    • Provide accurate and complete registration information
    • Keep your password confidential and not share it with others
    • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
    • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

    We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

    5. Subscription & Billing

    Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees as described on our pricing page. Fees are charged in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected).

    • You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
    • We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law
    • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice

    6. Intellectual Property

    The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Athenai and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of any part of the Service. You may not use our name, logo, or trademarks without prior written permission.

    7. Privacy

    Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

    8. Disclaimer of Warranties

    THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

    9. Limitation of Liability

    TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ATHENAI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

    10. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Athenai and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.

    11. Termination

    We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

    12. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware.

    We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
